No Bake Chocolate/Peanut Butter Oat Bars
Lightly grease 9 x 13 pan (cooking spray)
1 1/2 cups butter or margarine
1 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
6 cups quick cooking oats
Melt butter in large saucepan over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar and vanilla. Mix in oats. Cook over low heat 2 - 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
Press 1/2 mixture into bottom of 9 x 13 pan. Reserve other 1/2 for topping.
1 (12 oz.) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup peanut butter
Melt chips and peanut butter in small saucepan over low heat. Pour over crust in pan and spread evenly. Crumble remaining mix over chocolate and press down gently.
Refrigerate 1 hour.
